Apply for NHS Wales Athens Account
Authorised users need an Athens account to access NHS Wales licensed resources.
Existing users: please click on MyAthens login help if you have forgotten your Athens password.
To register for an Athens account, select your employing organisation from the list below, complete all sections and click on the submit button. Please note that most fields are mandatory.
Before you register, be aware of the following:
- To register, you must be employed by NHS Wales.
- You must supply a valid e-mail address in order to access your account (preferably wales.nhs.uk email address if you have one.)
- Your Athens account is valid for an initial period of 18 months, after which you will receive an automated request to renew. Your account and all personal saved searches will be deleted if you do not renew.
- Your details will be held by NHS Wales e-Library (and Eduserv) to provide you with information about your account and available e-resources. We may also use this data to provide information about local library services, training and support.
